Each cover is independently tested by SGS North America, one of the world's largest testing and certification organizations. SGS Report 5353938TX-01, completed August 28, 2025, confirms that Coverland seat cover materials pass FMVSS 302 flammability standards across all four material components: the outer shell, inner padding, foam layer, and side lining. Water resistance testing recorded an average hydrostatic pressure of 2,996 mbar before specimen failure.
